HP Bench Repairs - Frequently asked questions:

Q: My HP product is defective. What do I do now?
A: If you are a Retailer, choose Option 1.
If you are a Channel Partner or End User, choose Option 2.

Option 1: (Retailer)

  • Mail manifest to your regional Sebtech office
  • repairs@sebtech.co.za
  • Prepare units to be collected
  • Complete required Waybills
  • Issue units to Courier Company
  • Repair Process Commences
  • Please allow 5 days for repairs
  • We will email you once completed and will deliver

Option 2: (Channel Partner or End User)

  • Deliver your faulty unit to the HP Service Centre
  • The warranty entitlement is verified
  • The repair process commences*
  • Please allow 5 days for repairs
  • We will contact you to collect via telephone or SMS

*Commercial In-warranty units only.

Q: Where are the repair facilities located?
A: Sebtech has HP Bench Repair facilities located in Johannesburg.

Directions

  1. Traveling north on the N1 from Johannesburg to Pretoria. Take the Allendale off ramp.
  2. At the traffic lights turn left.
  3. Take your first right. (This is Bekker Road)
  4. Look for 836 on your Left hand side just before the petrol station.

Q: What are the hours of business of the HP Service Centres?
A: Weekdays from 08h00 - 17h00.

Q: What is the process for submitting my defective product?
A: Deliver your faulty unit to the HP Service Centre

Remember to:

  • Remove all accessories, e.g. cartridges, power supplies and CDs
  • Ensure that your power supply/AC adapter has been included in order for repairs to be carried out.
  • Ensure that you have made back-ups/recovery disks of your data.
